Description
The Bloom Podcast Club, giving voice to Galway’s youth of today!
Our podcast club is for young people from 13 to 17 years of age, once a week on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6pm, tutored by Alan Preims in our Soundtrack & Podcast studio in Dominick St. Lower, for a small group for up to 8 teenagers. They will learn how to communicate through compelling stories, use technology and audio equipment, and they will get the opportunity to record in a professional podcast recording studio, while having fun and making new friends. Join us!
Making a podcast together is a fantastic way for teenagers to come together, collaborate, and be heard; a unique opportunity for them to communicate and express themselves in a creative, safe and professional environment. Under the professional tuition of Alan, they will learn how to create and record a podcast from scratch, and gain the confidence to speak out, express their thoughts and engage with the public. They will shape their own ideas and concepts, create their own content and use sounds, music and audio designs to develop a cool podcast, available for everyone to listen to on the most popular podcast outlets. The Bloom Podcast Club takes the advantage of the benefits social media and digital platforms offer, as a channel to promote the result of their creative collaboration!
