We are delighted to announce that Elena has launched her audiovisual art project, “Window Stories,” installed in the window display of our sister business, Soundtrack & Podcast, located right beside our premises on Dominick Street Lower. Window Stories No 1 is the first of a series of three stories created and narrated by the artist, Elena Santos.
Three Objects - Three Stories - Three Months
Widow Stories was made possible by the funding of the Creative Practitioner Bursary Award 2025 from the Galway City Arts Office and the private sponsorship of Just Art It. Produced and recorded @soundtrackandpodcast with @alapreims

The project aims to preserve the memories and meanings imprinted in the objects that shape who we are, revealing how they influence our identities and personal growth. It serves as an open window to reflection, inviting others to explore their own stories and relationships with their possessions, while fostering awareness of the themes and connections that emerge through these intimate narratives.
On display until the end of the year, the installation invites anyone passing by to pause and engage: “Come to see, scan to listen.” Open and accessible 24/7, the project breathes life into Galway’s streets, weaving memory, identity, and everyday life into the city’s cultural fabric. By transforming an ordinary space into a platform for storytelling, it becomes a space of reflection and connection, where personal and collective stories imprinted in everyday objects are shared, felt, and remembered.
I want to create a space where the significance of personal objects is elevated through their stories by transforming a daily space into a platform for story telling. Enjoy!
