As part of our ongoing connection and grá (love) for the Irish language / An Ghaeilge, Just Art It launched these nine mini screen prints in February 2026. This bilingual series is created with my journey with An Ghaeilge in mind.
Being from Spain, and not having the opportunity to hear An Ghaeilge being spoken as much as English, I celebrate every new word and phrase I learn and solidify them into my everyday vocabulary here in the shop. A reminder to all that even when we only know cúpla focail (a couple of words), the use of every one of those words counts.
Printing bilingual pieces is equally important to me, so my work is inclusive to all those who have never seen or heard An Ghaeilge, as well as to the many who do know English (or a little Spanish in one case). Our small contribution to let An Ghaeilge be seen, learned, taken home, and now heard!
