This live online painting class is for learning colour mixing with Elena Santos, from the comfort of your home! No experience required! This live online class is delivered on Zoom. No account is required, you will receive your zoom link after you purchase and register for the course.
You can book the class only, or you can purchase it with our paint set box, containing everything you need for the class, plus a beautiful pre-drawn canvas to practice what you learnt in your own time! Our paint set box includes a blister with the process colours, 4 bottles of gouache, a brush, a cloth, 2 canvas boards, and a pre-drawn canvas featuring one of our favourites city spots: The Black Rock in Salthill, Galway.
Colour mixing is one of the most important skills for any kind of painting practice, and with this 2.5 hours live class you will discover how the colour wheel works! Elena will guide you step by step in painting five different colour palettes, obtained by mixing only the primary colours and white. You will learn about colour theory and you will gain the skills to continue practicing painting on your own in the medium of your choice.
List of materials needed to attend the class:
– colour paint process colours: yellow, blue cyan, magenta and white. Ideally gouache but you can also use your acrylics or poster paints.
– support: canvas board or paper for acrylic paint.
– accessories: brushes, cloths, palette and jar with water
