The Levante stretched canvas, meticulously handcrafted in Muro de Alcoy, Spain, combines cotton and polyester fibers with an alkyd ground primer, making it exceptionally suited for oil painting and versatile for various techniques. Its construction features a robust Spanish fork joint in Pine with a through tenon and dovetail, offering superior stability and preventing misalignment common in simpler joints. The rounded edges protect the fabric from damage and enhance tension distribution, supporting the rear nailing.

This medium-textured canvas is composed of 60% cotton, 26% polyester, and 14% viscose, with a density of 12 threads per centimeter in both weft and warp directions. It is finished with a double-layer alkyd primer for optimal preparation.
