Part of our ongoing connection and grá (love) for the Irish language / An Ghaeilge, "Iontach" is one of nine in the 2026 bilingual series, with Elena´s journey with An Ghaeilge in mind.

Being from Spain, and not having the opportunity to hear Gaeilge (Irish) being spoken as much as English, she celebrates every new word and phrase she learns and solidifies them into her everyday vocabulary here in the shop. A reminder to all that even when we only know cúpla focail (a couple of words), the use of every one of those words counts. 

Printing bilingual pieces is equally important to Elena, so her work can be inclusive to all who have never seen or heard An Ghaeilge, as well as to the many who do know English (or a little Spanish in one case). Our small contribution to let An Ghaeilge be seen and taken home.
