Give your child a summer experience filled with creativity, imagination, and discovery. Our Summer Art Camps for ages 8–12 offer a unique opportunity for young artists to explore a wide range of artistic techniques in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment.
Led by experienced artist and educator Elena Santos, each camp is carefully designed to encourage self-expression, curiosity, and confidence. Children are guided through hands-on activities that develop both skills and creativity, while also allowing space for play, experimentation, and personal ideas.
Throughout the week, they will explore a variety of media, including drawing, painting, and watercolour, working with high-quality materials and professional equipment. They will learn through direct observation, creating artwork inspired by real objects, their surroundings, and their own imagination.
Weather permitting, the group will enjoy outdoor sketching and painting sessions, as well as visits to exhibitions as part of the Galway International Art Festival, giving children the chance to connect their studio work with the wider art world in an engaging and accessible way.
Back in the studio, each day becomes a new creative adventure. Children will experiment with different techniques, discover new materials, and complete artworks. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and encouraging.
Our camps run Monday to Friday from 10 am to 1 pm. All materials are provided, so children can fully immerse themselves in the creative process without needing to bring anything except their curiosity and enthusiasm.
