ArtGraf Nº1 Water-Soluble Graphite Putty offers unparalleled versatility for expert artists seeking precision and range in their work. It comes in two forms: a 450g ceramic jar housing a ball of putty with a cork lid or a 150g pouch that can be used as a refill or as a more travel-friendly tool.

Both are sealed on purchase, but once opened, we recommend keeping them moist and checking on them from time to time with a little poke or squeeze, and feeding them with water when needed to keep them ready to use. If they do dry out, they can be resurrected when re-fed with water, but it may take a little more time to soften up than is desirable. Some help via kneading may be involved.
