Looking for a summer full of creativity, connection, and inspiration? Our Summer Afternoon Camps are a fun and enriching way for young people (ages 13 to 17) to explore their artistic side, build confidence, and meet like-minded peers in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Our art camps offer a hands-on journey through different techniques and styles, led by experienced artist and educator Elena Santos. Whether your teen is just starting out or already passionate about art, they’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow, express themselves, and have fun along the way.
We provide all the materials, with access to professional equipment—and all the encouragement—they need to experiment, learn, share, and create.
Our Summer Camps run Monday through Thursday, with three exciting options available in July: a Morning Art Camp from 10 am to 1 pm, and two afternoon sessions—Printmaking and Drawing Camps—from 3 to 5 pm.
Summer Art Camp: Drawing, Sketching & Colour Exploration.
Start the day with fresh ideas and flowing creativity! Our morning sessions are focused on developing essential drawing and painting skills in a relaxed and inspiring setting.
Highlights include:
-
Observational drawing & sketching techniques
-
Portrait and figure drawing fundamentals
-
Colour theory, blending, and paint mixing
-
Fun art exercises to boost creativity and confidence
When the weather’s nice, we’ll take our sketchbooks outdoors for urban sketching, nature drawing, and for real-world inspiration. It's a great way to explore the city and bring the art experience to life.
Ideal for beginners or those looking to refine their techniques, these sessions are a joyful and skill-building way to start the day.
Afternoon Camps: Drawing and Printmaking adventures.
Our afternoon art camps offer two exciting options—Printmaking Camp and Drawing Camp—each designed to spark creativity, build new skills, and give young artists the chance to express themselves in new ways. Whether you love bold prints or expressive drawing, there’s a camp here for you!
Afternoon Printmaking Camp:
Do you love printing? This camp is for you! Join us for a hands-on adventure into the world of printmaking—where you’ll turn your sketches into striking prints using a variety of fun and tactile techniques.
Expect to get inky, think creatively, and leave each day with prints you designed and made yourself. It's fun, dynamic, and perfect for anyone who loves working with their hands and thinking visually.
Afternoon Drawing Camp:
Prefer pencils, charcoal, and ink? Our Drawing Camp focuses on traditional and experimental drawing techniques using a wide variety of materials—from classic tools to contemporary art products.
In this camp, you’ll work with:
Charcoal and graphite
Ink washes and ArtGraf water-soluble media
Brushes, pens, and non-traditional tools
We’ll explore still life drawing, self-portraits, and expressive mark-making, giving you the skills and confidence to create your own finished artworks. If the weather’s on our side, we’ll also head outdoors for observational sketching sessions around the city.
This camp is great for young artists who want to expand their drawing skills, discover new materials, and develop their personal style in a supportive and creative space.
