Just Art It regularly offers one day workshops* on Saturdays. These intensive workshops are perfect for getting immersed in the practice of your favourite art discipline. Ideal for anyone who cannot commit to a weekly course, and who wishes to enjoy the weekend in a creative way.
Upcoming courses and dates:
DRYPOINT One day course on Saturday 5th February 2022. Drypoint is a very popular technique, and an ideal introduction to Intaglio printmaking processes. You will learn how to work with your own designs at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere. Elena will do demonstrations and guide you in the process of creating your own prints, and you will learn how to draw with different tools on a metal plate. We will explore complementary inking techniques like Rollup or “A la poupée” to achieve multicolour prints. No drawing skills required!
Price and times:
The price of the course is €125 with all materials included. Groups are for a maximum of 6 people, and times are 10am to 4pm ( one hour launch break) Everything you need to complete this course is provided and included in the fee of the course. You are welcome to bring visuals, photographs or sketches as a source of inspiration to create your own prints.

Adults classes and courses T&C, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Please note that our face to face adult classes and courses are only for COVID-19 fully vaccinated people over 18 years of age, and your COVID-19 certificate will be checked on the first day of the course. You will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of your class. Please bring one with you.
Our courses cater for limited groups of students to ensure enough individual space and social distancing. Our studios and equipment are sanitised and ventilated regularly every day, and prior to the classes starting. Hand sanitiser is provided, and on arrival you will be asked to wash your hands.
In case of a lock down, all courses will be moved online where possible, otherwise they will be rescheduled to another date.
In the case that Just Art It has to cancel the course, we will issue a full refund. If you have fully booked but cannot attend and need to cancel, we operate a strict 10 working day notice in order to issue a refund, due to the limited number of students we cater for. Please note that bookings are not transferable to another course or date in any circumstances.
No refund will be issued if you provide us with false booking information, or if your COVID-19 certificate is invalid.
Please note: If a last minute cancellation occurs, we will try our best to fill your space, however we can only offer a refund if someone else books your place. If a friend or family member wants to take your place for the full duration of the course we have to be notified at least 48 hours before starting the course, and the person has to comply with our classes terms and conditions. Also, in this case we are not responsible for any type of fee exchanges or transactions.
In the case you miss classes due to any kind of illness, including COVID-19, we won’t be able to accommodate online sessions while the course takes place face to face. Also, we won’t be able to issue partial refunds or offer recovery classes. Please visit HSE.ie for full information about COVID-19.
Please note that by enrolling in our classes you agree to comply with our terms and conditions, and you agree to the following:
• TO NOTIFY US: if you are a close contact or positive with COVID-19, or if you have to be isolated because you are developing COVID-19 symptoms. Proof of a negative test will be required to return to the group.
• TO ATTEND ONLINE: only if your group has to be moved online due to a new government restrictions or lockdown. Please note that there won’t be any make up classes in the case that you cannot connect online. Also, classes won’t be transferred or refunded.
